ComBO (Combined Blended Vision Operation) is where we perform Presbyond after cataract surgery to give you vision like never before!
We are the only practice in Western Australia with the expertise and technology to offer this cutting edge surgical technology!
WHAT IS ComBO?
ComBO (Combined Blended Vision Operation) is when we perform Presbyond after cataract surgery. This option is exclusive to Crystal Eye and Laser Centre and is for patients with cataracts but who wants Presbyond Laser Blended Vision. Cataract is a major contra-indication for Presbyond surgery but we appreciate the fact that Presbyond delivers the best all round spectacle independence in comparison to any other lens based option available. That is why we offer Presbyond AFTER cataract surgery with standard clear lenses to give patients the best quality vision with the clearest contrast.
If you do have cataracts, surgery can be performed
free of charge in the public sector or covered by health insurance. We do not charge any fee for the cataract surgery part of your ComBo surgery. Following cataract surgery we wait 6 – 8 weeks for the eyes to recover from the surgery and you will need a +1.50
TEMPORARY set of spectacles for clear distance vision which can be purchased at a chemist or optometry practice for less than $10. Presbyond Laser Blended Vision is then performed after cataract surgery giving you uncompromised clear distance and near vision again. If you already have had your cataracts done and only have distance vision; we can also perform Presbyond on the eyes to give you your reading vision back without compromising your distance vision.
